Bought Yes's "Fragile" today
Dez 4 2005, 1h32
So today I went to the music store in town, and forgot what album I wanted, so I saw Yes, and decided to buy Fragile. I really like Yes, but don't have any of their albums.
So I picked this up today, and after one playthrough I really like it. Only song I've heard before from this album is Roundabout, and it's my favorite Yes track. I'm really digging the rest of the album, and the track I like most currently besides "Roundabout" is
South Side of the Sky
This is the 2003 reissue, so it has two bonus tracks,
America, and Roundabout (early rough mix) . "America" is good song, and the other version of "Roundabout" isn't that much different than the original, but you still notice the small differences.
Now onto listening to it many more times(along with some other Yes stuff :))

Those two songs were good as well, and I'll most likely grow fond of them as I listen to the album more. I did enjoy the album as a whole. Maybe I should give it a listen again before going to sleep :)

Now you'll need to buy Close to the Edge

I was debating between Close to the Edge and Fragile, and Fragile won out because it had 'Roundabout', the first Yes song I've listened to.

Fragile and The Yes Album are my two favorite Yes albums. South Side of the Sky is one of my favorites, too.

Fragile is definitely a good album, but Close to the Edge and Relayer beat it by quite a bit, in my opinion.

I did listen to the album again last night, and enjoyed it more, perhaps due to the fact that I wasn't reading the lyrics at the same time as I listening to it :P I really liked 'Heart of the Sunrise' this second time through.

I love 'Close to the Edge'(only song I've heard off of that album). Heh, prog at it's best :) I'm definitely gonna buy that album the next chance I get.

You haven't heard And You And I? Do so as soon as you can, and then, if you have the money, purchase the album.

Yeah, I've heard 'And You and I', great song. So 'Close to the Edge' and 'Relayer' are the next albums I should get? Any other recommendations?

I love the Yes cover of America!

Wait a sec, 'America' is by another band? I thought it was an original song by them. What group did that song? I'm confused, watch this be by some really popular band :(

Yes was originally by Simon and Garfunkel and it was written by Paul Simon

Ah ok. I haven't listened to much Simon and Garfunkel, so that explains my n00bishness about that :) :P My dad actually has some S&G cds, should go take a listen to those.
