Savina Yannatou (Greek: Σαβίνα Γιαννάτου/Savína Giannátou; born March 20, 1959 in Athens) is a renown professional Greek female singer.
She studied singing at the Greek national conservatory of Athens and later at the England’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Since 1979 she began working as a professional singer. In 1981 she released her first album Edo Lilipuli and since released 15 more in different languages. She is particularly known for singing mediterranean Renaissance and Baroque songs, as well as Sephardic ones, although she also made numerous classical and Jazz records.
She has also composed her own music and songs (a.o. "Rosa das Rosas" and "Dreams of the mermaid" which were both released by Musurgia Graeca), as well as music for theater ("Medea" performed in 1997 by the National Greek Theatre), video art and dance theater.
She has released and/or participated in over 20 LPs and CDs.Savina Yannatou
