Well, there is just nothing like it! Saw David in concert for the 5th or 6th time (should look that up, really) last Monday, 12 Nov. 2007 in the Camden Roundhouse in London. And the biggest surprise was, that he was his own support act! Can you believe that?! He played a 40 minute accoustic set! AWESOME!! Then he took a 20 min break and returned with the band to play the rest of the concert.

I was very much impressed with the new drummer. He didn't make a good impression on me when I first saw him with David during the BB concert in Luzern, Switzerland on 21 July 2007. But now, he really put his signature on some of the songs. He made them stronger, more powerful. It was really really impressive.

Some of the concert highlights for me were: Long Black Vail, From Here You Can Almost See The Sea, Destroyer (a new song, GREAT!!), Be Mine and The Other Side.

The audience seemed fairly tame. They were into it, but at the same time they didn't seem to have the energy that I have felt at other David Gray concerts.
