well, with the stereo box set you can hear the instruments better since they're all basically in one ear. but i like the way the mono sounds, the help! album sounds good that way. if i was gonna get one, i think i would just go for the mono box set. you can always go to the store and pick up one album that you want in stereo. but they don't sell the mono in the stores. so, go for the mono set.

Yeah no and that's why I infinitely love Orpheus while Gawian is just sort of dull, there's just orchestral freakouts and arbitrary pointilism in Gawain while Orpheus is hell of layered, there's the anxious modularity of the orchestra but then there's the hella calming thousands of oscillators which are doing the 'season auras'; but yeah no ACT 1 is supposed to be pretty linear you are going to be fucked by ACT 3
