Sane and Functional Mix

21-years old cybernetics'n'existentialHangover guy from Finland. Deeply interested in music, visual arts, sociology, psychology and philosophy. I also read books quite a lot, mostly either scifi or then factual ones but also so-called literary classics.

In music rhythm and athmosphere are probably the things that matter most to me. As a kid I would listen to early heavy metal like Black Sabbath and later on some light-edged industrial metal like Rammstein and Fear Factory. I also enjoyed some video game soundtracks a lot, most notably Megaman and Metroid-series, Red Alert and Quake. But it was german-belgian-swedish underground electronics were what got me seriously interested in music around the time I turned to 18. The bleak, futuristic, cybernetic and industrial aesthetics of 80/90's EBM and electro-industrial and the modern power noise/technoid thing appealed to me the moment I heard such music.

I had been living, and I suppose I still do, half in the future and half here now. As a kid I had immersed myself to the world of science but I had over time come to see the darker prospects of our scientific society. Alienation, mechanization and computerization of the human being itself. This kind of music seemed to reflect where we are heading and in case of power noise seemed to take the banal clangs and noises of technological society and pack them into enjoyable yet furious form.

Over the time my friends would come to introduce me to more athmosphere-drive electronic music, classic rave tunes, drumn'n'bass, avant-weird stuff and then later on to rock, metal and shoegaze guitar racket. So I suppose my taste in music is a synthesis of these influences. Though it's a stereotypical indie virtue of the day I try to keep my mind open about music. Even if I can't aestheticaly enjoy some forms of music I at least try to understand it in it's own context.

I'm the synth guy behind the MKDELTA. I'm also the other half of Central Nervous Sound System. I'm also Individual8580 but there's nothing much there...yet.
