Hi Tim, Happy Friday!! i hope the work week wrapped up nicely and you are preparing for a fantastic weekend. I am a Slayer fan but don't know much beyond Season's in the Abyss. I, like you, enjoy a bit of metal. I was a big fan of 80's metal (Maiden, Priest, Crue, etc...) I will have to give the new Slayer album a listen. I had a few brief conversations with EnglandDreaming. I hope we see her again some day. Well, it finally cooled a bit here. Cloudy and a bit breezy which is a welcome relief from what we had been experiencing. We (me, Spud, and Sadie) get up before work to walk in the park everyday. I am a huge Patton fan, it seems like everything he touches turns to gold. Some I love, most I like, and all of it I find very interesting. Musicians (and I use that term loosely) are trying to hawk a clothing line, or a new perfume, or a lifestyle...gone are the days of art inside the product. This is Spud. I know very little about his lineage, he was going to go to a shelter if we did not take him in. He's such a cool guy, all dogs are as far as I am concerned. The Steely Dan show was tremendous they played all the hits I remember growing up with. Considering what was going on musically back then, they are great writers and performers. I agree with you.
