I feel this box needs updating as I have had the same words for a year.

OK - Morrissey is and has been for a long time and will be forever my favourite artist. He is a genius and he always makes me laugh. I enjoy his sense of humour. I will always make a point of seeing him whenever he comes to town, as he is always better than I can imagine.

Last.FM has done a lot for my music listening habits this past year. I have discovered various artists I wouldn't have otherwise had the pleasure of hearing, and also helped me rediscover old favourites. Particular mention here should be made of Brad Paisley who I discovered through the Garth Brooks radio, and I haven't yet been able to get enough of him. He is someone else whose humour I enjoy. And he is exceptionally musically clever, as well as lyrically. Did that sentence make sense? Anyway. I also discovered I enjoy John Barrowman much more than I expected. Was quite surprised.



Would also like to give a special mention here to Stillhouse Hollow and Josh Preston. Both simply awesome. I stayed up till 4.30 one morning to watch a gig broadcast online - they were in Franklin, TN, I was in London, England. Well worth no sleep that night.

And that is that.





I would like to point out, also, that although I now have to admit that I love the Take That song 'Patience' my user name doesn't originate from it. They ripped the name off me, who had long ago ripped it off Robin Hobb.
