I thought I'd make this a monthly thing to better keep track of all the new music I'm discovering. <<3
But this time, I have 16 albums, 12 wasn't enough.^^

"As I love discovering new music, I thought I'd keep track of all the new stuff I found and liked/loved.
And by new, I don't mean albums that have just been released, but albums that are new to me.
So here are twelve albums that I recently discovered and enjoyed listening to.

Note: I have quite bipolar taste in music. Feel free to bash me, haha.

16.張懸-My Life Will...
Genre: Indie Pop
Year: 2006

Deserts Xuan is a very talented artist from Taiwan. Listening to her music feels like dreaming in the summer sun, it's wonderful to listen to.

15.陳綺貞-Immortal
Genre: Folk
Year: 2009

And another great taiwanese musician: Cheer Chen. Immortal really is a beautiful record. I wish I could understand the language though. xD

14.Dinner auf Uranos-50 Sommer - 50 Winter
Genre: Progressive Rock
Year: 2010

Dinner Auf Uranos was formed from the ashes of Nocte Obducta, a German Black Metal band. 50 Sommer - 50 Winter is a great and very creative effort that is certainly worth listening to.

13.Monarch!-Dead Men Tell No Tales - Speak Of The Sea
Genre: Drone
Year: 2007

To quote a user on their last.fm page: "The unholiest band my ears have had the pleasure of hearing thus far." Haha, yeah. Cool record.

12.Clair Cassis-Clair Cassis
Genre: Black Metal
Year: 2010

An outstanding black metal band that was sadly rather shortlived. They only released this full length and an EP, which are both pieces of excellent and haunting music.

11.Lantlôs-.neon
Genre: Black Metal
Year: 2010

Beautiful and atmospheric, I love Lantlôs! All the stuff they have put out so far (Demo: "Îsern Himel", Self-Titled Full-Length) is awesome, but I like ".neon" best!

10.Deftones-Diamond Eyes
Genre: Alternative
Year: 2010

The Deftones are one of my favorite bands and I finally came around to really listening to "Diamond Eyes". It's absolutely fantastic. And I love the owl on the cover! <3

09.Thränenkind-Eine Momentaufnahme - Der Rest ist nur Einsamkeit
Genre: Depressive Black Metal
Year: 2010

This is Thränenkind's first EP and I have to say that I like it quite a lot. Their split with Heretoir is also absolutely worth listening! Great music.

08.Kanashimi-Romantik Suicide
Genre: Depressive Black Metal
Year: 2009

Romantic Black Metal from Japan. I like it, especially the piano.

07.Amesoeurs-Amesoeurs
Genre: Black Metal
Year: 2009

After hearing so much good stuff about this band, I finally decided to listen to this and form my own opinion. I think the album's awesome. Must listen to their EP aswell. Oh, and why do all these amazing bands have to break up? <'3

06.Star of Ash-Iter.Viator
Genre: Avant-Gade
Year: 2002

Ihriel's (from Peccatum) avant-garde/ambient/electronic project, which produces quite beautiful music.

05.Nico-The Marble Index
Genre: Singer-Songwriter
Year: 1969

Why haven't I listened to her any earlier? She's a legend! Frozen Warnings is my favorite from this record.

04.Kerli-Love Is Dead
Genre: Pop
Year: 2008

I can't help but love her music! xD

03.Les Discrets-Septembre et ses dernières Pensées
Genre: Shoegaze/Post-Rock
Year: 2010

Amazing. And the album cover is just beautiful!

02.Draugadróttinn-Where the Sea Gives Up Its Dead
Genre: Black Metal
Year: 2010

This is their first release and it's brilliant! We'll hopefully hear more from them in the future. You can also get their songs free from last.fm.

01.Maximilian Hecker-Infinite Love Songs
Genre: Singer-Songwriter/Indie
Year: 2001

He describes his music as "melancholic Pop-Hymns", which fits very well, I think. Lovely record.
