I play trumpet for more than twenty years now, but not professionally. playing some sinfonical, traditional, some chamber music and also some jazz (quite eclectic, huh?^^)
I thought it would be an appropriate pic for a site that deals mainly with music.
the funny thing about it is, that you won't find much of this kind of music styles in my charts...

a word to over-categorizing musical genres, especially when it comes to metal in all it's diversity:
well, I also do this myself. sometimes I simply don't want to listen to black metal, but to some more gothic stuff or to the more progressive styles or vice versa...
but then you have those elitists, who sub-sub-categorize the music they propably like to an extend I cannot understand. and start bitching at each other when someone has another genre-tag for it, they can't agree with...
to all those people I only have one message:

"The more you bitch, the less you can headbang!"
