I do wish the album was a little longer though, I wish there were more than 6 tracks but still.

Spiderland is so haunting, I'm beginning to really, really into that album. "Good Morning, Captain" is one of my all time favourite songs, LOVE the climatic ending. Have you still been listening to Don Cab?

Also, my recommendation of the day: the legendary Slint, you may have or may not have heard of them.

The cover art is my avatar - I love "What Burns..." , I own that on CD and vinyl :) I'm really, really getting into "Don Caballero 2" I used to find that one quite challenging, but I'm really getting into that one. The drumming is so spectacular (as usual) and I love the guitar work. Did you enjoy that one? The best Don Cab album for new Don Cab fans is probably "For Respect"

What's your favourite Don Cab album so far? (well, the favourite you've listened to so far)

Good choice indeed. My two joint number 1 Don Cab albums are "American Don" and "What Burns Never Returns" However, I'm really going to get into their first two albums. "For Respect" is a little less complex, but still awesome and "Don Caballero 2" definitely needs more listening, just a little more demanding than other ones. I'm glad you're enjoying them :)

What Don Caballero stuff have you been listening to? PS: check out their live videos on Youtube, they absolutely kick ass. How they can perform stuff that technical flawlessly is amazing!

I'm glad you're enjoying it. It's real awesome stuff, for sure! I quite enjoyed The Delgados, not usually my thing but nevertheless, enjoyable music. I'll be sure to check out more of their stuff soon. I also see you listen to Archers of Loaf - great band. I don't own very much of their stuff at all, but I listen to a majority of it on YouTube. Today, in fact, I've been listening to them all day!

Don Caballero's early stuff was awesome! Very technical, instrumental stuff. Damon Che (the drummer and leader) is my favourite drummer. Also, check out their album "American Don" that's my favourite, I think. Thanks! I'll check that out now.

"Mouth by Mouth" seems a little less atmospheric and more poppy than the previous two, however, I enjoy the songs that I've heard from that album and am looking forward to buying the rest of it soon. "Ft. Lake" is one that I'm really going to try and get into, I think it may require repeated listens for it to "click" perhaps. I'm definitely getting "Stars on ESP" soon, though. I dig the songs that I've heard from that album. Oh man, Don Caballero are awesome! My avatar is the cover of their album "What Burns Never Returns" give that a listen. And nope! I haven't heard of The Delgados - what's a good album to check out from them?

My favourite His Name is Alive (so far) is "Home Is In Your Head" a really captivating, somewhat moving experience. I need to get around to buying the rest of "Mouth by Mouth" and to buy "Stars on ESP" I may also give "Ft. Lake" a chance, but I haven't really enjoyed the songs I've heard from that album. After that, as I said, I lose interest. I also really love "Livonia" that's a bit more gothic and atmospheric but great, the first song I ever heard from HNIA is on that album. That song is "How Ghosts Affect Relationships" such a haunting song!

Thank you so much :) I recently discovered His Name is Alive, but they're already climbing up my charts quickly. Their first three albums are magical listening experiences, very captivating music. I like what I've heard from "Stars on ESP" but then it all seems to go a bit downhill from there. Codeine I've known since last August but I've somewhat gone off them, I have to be in a certain mood to enjoy their music and I haven't been in that mood in a while. His Name is Alive, however, is music I can enjoy no matter what my mood. Warren Defever is a genius,
