oh that show was BEAUTIFUL! so appropriate for them to have played at the phoenix :D one of my favourite venues! man i would see them again in december but i hate sound academy SO MUCH... i'm sure they'll come back, eventually, hopefully to a better venue lol in the meantime i'm quite content having already seen them :) when you go, you'll have to tell me afterwards how awesome it was

I've been pretty impressed with Toronto audiences lately. For a while, I thought we sucked, but we've been getting a lot better, especially when I compare it to other cities... I went to a show in New York and the audience sucked. I love Kim's permanent smile. And Matt's so adorable. I gave Matt a super sweaty hug and professed my love for how fun he is. I love how nice they are. Yeah. The opener... I mean, the fact they have a song called 'Somebody Gonna Get Pregnant' is a little weird, but they were probably the funniest group I've ever seen. If music doesn't work out, they could do standup. I'll probably decide about the Bravery super last minute. Right now, I think I'm going, but that could change... I'm not a big fan of their opener, Living Things, but I suppose that's not too big of a deal.

So good! Probably better than their NXNE performance. I wonder if they actually do love Toronto that much, or if they're like that in every city? Whatever the case, they're so much fun... And such sweethearts. ... What'd you think of the opening act, lol?

And yeah, I saw some live videos of Dirty Projectors on youtube and they sounded fantastic in, like, every single one. Gah, I just love them in general. I looked through your events page and I saw that you're going to Ra Ra Riot! As am I, I think; I only got into them recently, but I'm really loving The Rhumb Line at the moment.

Sorry for the belated reply! Haha, yeah, that's my youtube page; thanks so much for the compliment! It's really fun. And it's so awesome you saw Fleet Foxes! I wanted to go see them at Massey Hall but tickets sold out super fast, and I was very sad.

And haha, The Bravery. ... They opened for Green Day. I think that's about all they've been up to.

Yeah. The lineup is pretty weak this year, it's true. Probably why not a lot of people didn't want to make the trek to Barrie... It'll be interesting to see how they set up the Molson Amphitheater. Definitely not my favourite venue in the world. And we'll see if it really is the last time NIN come to Canada. Passion Pit was great, yeah! A bit bummed it was all ages though, haha. Did you go to their show a couple of months ago (I think it was in June)? Did you catch the after party as well? Ughhh jealous you went to Lollapalooza. I got offered passes to it, but I had absolutely no way to get to Chicago with less than a week's notice/nowhere to stay. I'm sure I missed out. Friendly Fires are absolutely fantastic live. I think I preferred the Friendly Fires show to the Passion Pit one. They've got a load of energy. The stage set up for their instruments is a bit awkward though. I need to go get my tickets for the December visit.

Hey! As of right now I think I'm going to vfest. Yeah, as nice as the free show at the CNE would be, it's not a tough call for me choosing between tpc and franz ferdinand. Plus I feel like tpc are /always here, whereas Franz are not. What do you think of the lineup this year - you're going to day two?
