That would have definitely been cool to see. I've listened to some of his solo stuff. Good stuff. I'm a fan of all music, especially folk, so I totally got into his solo stuff. =]

Totally, and yeah maybe it doesn't sound like the 'Bad Religion' sound that so many have come to know and love. But, if it sounds good, why not like it? I mean if Bad Religion would have ventured out more and become built around that album, than people would've been criticizing "How Can Hell Be Any Worse." Oh well, in a sense it's kind of better that not as many people like this album. It almost seems more personal and like a treasure to those that appreciate it. Ya know?

So I went to see Andrew Bird with St. Vincent tonight. They collaborated on a new song called "Lusitania" and it's very Weather Systems-like. I would love to see them work more together in the future.

oh, and give the song "Elijah" a listen. it's on one of the records i mentioned, but it's so good that it deserves its own recommendation.

yeah i haven't listened to them much since high school. they're awfully melancholy, but it's a characteristic of the band that i've always loved. the coroner's gambit was their indie breakthrough, so i definitely recommend that. and i'm also partial to heretic pride, equally as tremendous.
