Should I stay or should I go?

I love this site. I have discovered so many new artists and I loved being able to scrobble and finding concerts Montréal. This site was so great because it was free and easy.

I don't use the radio too often. But when I do, I use it for days on end, listening to people's radios introduced me to tons of new artists. Now I have to pay because I don't live in the United States, the United Kingdom or Germany. I still don't understand why. Nobody told me. I didn't even know about this change until I clicked on a link in a shoutbox.

I feel like I should use MOG again. Maybe with facebook being really shitty and being greedy bastards I should go back to myspace. At least the music there is free. I can always use purevolume to find new artists. Or google even.

I think I will be leaving very soon.

    1. What's your favorite song by 15?
The Audition. A lot of people claim that Champion isn't as good as Controversy Loves Company but I disagree. That being said, I think my favourite by them would have to be "Have Gun, Will Travel"

    2. How did you get into 20?
As Tall As Lions. Uh, I do believe it was because I read about them on someone's blog a couple of years ago

    3. Who is your favorite member in 1?
Lydia. Leighton Antelman because his voice is pretty.

    4. What’s your favorite lyric bit by 29?
Jack Johnson. "Well he's not necessarily trying to say god can't be trusted."

    5. Have you ever seen 22 live?
Death Cab for Cutie. Sadly not, my brother did though so I still got merch and pictures.

    6. What's your favorite album from 10?
Brand New. Even though "The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me" is a majestic album, "Deja Entendu" is my favourite and probably always will be.

    7. Do you own any merchandise from 3?
The Format. No and it still makes me cry. Especially knowing that I'll never get to see them live. Life is exceptionally cruel.

    8. What is a good memory you have of 7?
Manchester Orchestra. I really haven't a clue. My life is not a movie with a soundtrack, there is no music playing when I'm walking around or reading a book. Well, actually, there is.... but not in the sense where there are memories attached to a group. Or at least not this one in particular. I should probably listen to them more often.

    9. Is there a member of the same age as you in 2?
Thursday. Not that I know of.

    10. When did you first get into 8?
Sigur Rós. A friend that I used to have listened to them back when we were in high school.

    11. Who likes 4 along with you?
Neutral Milk Hotel. A lot of people because they are exceptional. However, out of people that I have met in real life? Not a single other person. How sad.

    12. Which song did you first hear from 16?
Frank Sinatra. "Love and Marriage". Married with Children FTW!

    13. What song made you fall in love with 5?
Boys Night Out. This is hard. I would probably say that I started listening to them because of the song "Victor Versus The Victim" but to make me fall in love? Most likely "It Won't Be Long" because the song is EPIC.

    14. Which song do you not like by 18?
Teitur. I'm not a fan of "Far ongantíð frá mær"

    15. Why do you like 14's songs?
Flight of the Conchords because they are hilarious and it makes me laugh. It's especially awesome when I'm on the bus and laughing to myself and people look at me like I am a psycho.

    16. Where did you first hear 6?
Margot & the Nuclear So and So's. The internets. Love me the information highway.

    17. How long was 19 a singer before you liked them?
Sufjan Stevens. Well, I believe he started making music in 2003 maybe? I only recently started back in 2008 so with my super cool math skillz that would be 5 years.

    18. Does 13 have a song that gives you a bad memory?
Patrick Watson. Only that I missed his show because of a super bad snow storm

    19. When did you get into 17?
Right Away, Great Captain!. Um, in 2007 I think. Yes, that sounds about right.

    20. How long have you been into 9?
John Mayer. Oh my, since I was in high school. I started high school... in 2001 and started listening in my second year so in 2002. Yes, so I have been listening to Mr. Mayer for 7(ish) years. I'm so cool.

    21. If 11 had a concert 300 miles away, would you drive there to see them?
Michael Bublé. No, considering he comes to Montréal often enough like most musicians and I saw him when he came in 2008 and I'll go see him next time he rolls around. Probably next year or at the jazz festival if I'm lucky.

    22. How many CDs do you own of 12?
Saosin. Hard copies? None, they are all my brothers. On my computer however, it would appear that with EP's and unreleased CD's and things like that it would be 15. Which is a lot now that I think about it.

    23. Does 21 have a song that makes you cry?
Say Anything. Haha, I don't think they have a song that can make a person cry.

    25. Does 23 have a song that makes you smile?
Damien Rice. Oh, yes. He does. "Rootless Tree"

    26. What's the last song you've listened to from 28?
Dashboard Confessional. I have no idea. To be honest, I'm really not into them at all anymore so I don't really listen all that much.

    27. Is there a song by 32 that you've listened to more than 30 times?
Chiodos. According to my Itunes no, but I don't have an Ipod to scrobble so I am sure that I have listened to the majority of their songs more than 30 times. Especially "Smitten for the Mitten", "Is It Progression if a Cannibal Uses a Fork?", "I Didn't Say I Was Powerful, I Said I Was A Wizard (Acoustic)" and "There's No Penguins In Alaska"

    28. Any song by 50 that you've only listened to once?
Cauterize. Most likely considering I don't listen to them anymore. I don't even have a song of theirs on my computer anymore.

    29. Is there a song you are sick of hearing by 24?
Bright Eyes. Maybe. I'm getting sick of "Take It Easy (Love Nothing)"

    30. What song got you into 40?
The Spill Canvas. Like most people, "All Hail The Heartbreaker"

    31. What is your favorite single by 25?
We the Kings. Difficult. But probably "Stay Young"

    32. If 49 hated you, what would you do?
Something Corporate. Die. Wait, that might be a tad over dramatic. It would be cool because they would probably have a song about how much the hate me. THEN I WOULD BE FAMOUS.

    33. What would you say if 42 or one of the members from 42 asked you out?
The Fratellis. Hells to the yes.

    34. Would you care if 41 had a boyfriend/girlfriend?
The Decemberists. Chances are they already do. The chances are also good that I would not care. Or do not care. At all.

    35. Who has the best voice in 46?
    Senses Fail. Buddy obviously...

    36. Do you think 26 is/are good looking?
    Kevin Devine. Yess

    37. How many times have you listened to your favorite song by 36?
Minus the Bear. Pachuca Sunrise, 13 times

    38. How many CDs do you own of 30?
    Zebrahead. SEVEN, DAWG

    39. Is there a song from 38 that makes you mad?
    The Smiths. Not really, no.

    40. Which member from 31 do you want to see go solo? If 31 is only one artist, what would you do if they joined a group?
of Montreal. None because then it would ruin the band. I would probably listen to the new group anyway if it was good.

    41. What does your favorite song from 48 remind you of?
Wicked Well, it is the soundtrack to the musical so the entire thing reminds me of:
    a) the musical
    b) the book
    c) the wizard of oz

    42. Did you hate 43 at first?
Cobra Starship. Yes, actually I really didn't like them at first.

    43. Does your best friend also listen to 33?
    Mayday Parade. No.

    44. Do you think your parents would like 37?
All Time Low. My dad would not but my mom does.

    45. Does 47 have a song that makes you want to dance?
The Snake The Cross The Crown. Not really.

    46. Have you ever seen 34 in person?
Jimmy Eat World. That would be a negative.

    47. Do you like 44's name?
Kate Nash. As a matter of fact, I do.

    48. Is there someone in 45 that you want to go out with?
    The Beatles. Uh. He's dead.

    49. Do you know anyone that hates 39?
The Higher. Personally, yes. Not personally, also yes.

    50. Have you ever danced to a song from 35?
Escape the Fate. Lawlz. Nope, can't say that I have.
