This is where I mostly listen to stuff that I want to get to know better, and there's a lot of it. If for some reason you want a nice dose of early '80s to mid '90s pop and rock nostalgia, as well as stuff that a child of hippies would grow up with, I have another account for that called poppy_dont_go.
I'm a Minneapolitan Jewish dyke. I listen to damn near everything but am currently obsessed with finding good metal of many subgenres, most importantly melodic death, pagan (especially Slavic, Finnish and non-European), and/or woman-fronted. The pagan metal quest has turned out to be a primer in so-called National Socialist bands and artists, most of whom the actual Nazis would have laughed at and then killed. I do listen to lots of brilliant kickass unracist music that racist-music fans tend to like. This is why there are sometimes visitors to my profile page with names like SlavonicHonorWolf or whatever the fuck. ...I'm also finding way too much punk and free jazz.
