Well, I was just going to ask the other day why you hadn't added Rising to your recently purchased list... Nice choice, btw :)

Hey... just cruising by this morning and your recent trax remind me that I NEED to get that GPS album! Did you see that they re-signed w/ a 3 record deal w/ Inside Out and have a new one out by Spring '09?

Found the song, played it, it's wasn't what I was expecting but it was still pretty good. Wouldn't buy it though =P

It's on an album called "Zen Shred Zone" by The Tobias Hurwitz Band. I've no idea which track it is but the only song I've heard is the title track from a youtube video which... well the tone is absolutely rubbish so I can't really pass judgement. I've heard a few Planet X songs but not enough to really pass much judgement. Will check some more out and let you know what I think =P

Oh, OK. I am so proud of myself to get that one. New Wave Of British Heavy Metal? Huh, wasn't that hard. So, motivated as I am right now, I'll go and look for that band. Gotta remember to share my impression of them afterwards. Have a nice afternoon, mate.

I guess the NWOBHM should ring the bell but, unfortunately, it doesn't and somehow I'm too lazy at the moment to google it. However, I do thank you for the recommendation. Now I'll definitely give Saxon a try. That is, as soon as I get my hands on them and I can't say if that's an easy task here.

Howdy, long time no talk, again... Sorry about not responding before, I thought I'd reply when i got around to listening to that track but I never did. I tried out that Devil's Slingshot album. It's a bit bland isn't it? Why is it that when several virtuosi get together it suddenly becomes incredibly boring? Strange. Oh well... Anyway, I heard of a track that has a 'duel' with Michael Angelo Batio and Mattias IA Eklundh and wondered if you have it anyway. Sounds like it could be interesting... I don't really have any great musical discoveries to share with you I'm afraid. Most of my money has gone on funk albums recently so all I have is Maggot Brain by funkadelic (if you've not heard it) and check out Aurelius which are a metal/orchestral thing but much more... hmmm, well, it's Metal & Orchestral music just not like, symphonic I suppose.

I'm just amazed that it took so long for me to see that you are the leader! I never paid attention to groups until recently, and now they're waaay down on the page, even below journals, and I don't usually get beyond those. In fact, I saw you were the leader not by seeing your groups. I was trying a solution to this issue of not knowing about replies-to-replies on each others' journals: did you know you can look at the replytracker of anyone? I didn't. Just go to my page and put "/replytracker" on the end of the address to see mine. It's not an automatic solution, but easier remembering to rummage through all the posts individually. (It would be automatic if you subscribe to its RSS feed, but then you'd see all the unrelated stuff, too.) Seems a bit nosey, and subs'ing to the feed would kinda feel like snooping through the mail! (IM in UR feedz, snoopin' UR shoutz...) Anyway, I saw lotsa of forum posts from there on your RT, *then* saw you were the leader...duh.

Sobre mim

The last 10 albums I bought:
1.The Battle Rages On
2.Slaves and Masters
3.Purpendicular
4.?
5.?
6.Window To The Soul
7.Rising
8.Sound Proof
9.In Absentia
10.The Inner Sanctum
Note: The list of last ten albums I've bought is currently treated on a trial basis as a guessing game style list. If you think you've spotted me playing something a lot that may be one of the question marks, give me a shout.
