Sigh.

I wanted... no, needed to say, Fuck you my cool peers. Those who had taste, and style, and then showed it off only to be emulated by gaggles of wide eyed, no talent, "lol"ing hacks who constantly keep me on a style run, and have absolutely no brain to speak of.

Because of you, for 8 years now, I haven't been able to wear any from or show any appreciation for the film, The Nightmare Before Christmas, lest I be shunned by my fellow peers.

Because of you, I've had to keep on my feet, burrowing deeper into the ground that we know as meaningful literature and art to find beautiful things, because the zombies are constantly feeding.

Hell, fear of Zombies has become contrived. In fact, the word contrived, is becoming contrived.

So I wanted to thank you for keeping my on my feet, but then again, I guess I have to blame myself to.

But instead of blaming any of us, how about we build an island, where we'd all drive hybrid cars, activist our hearts out, and section all of our cool in reserves.

I lost all semblance of a point!

I can't! I can explain, through a long paragraph, why it is an amazing film to my peers, and make them agree. But if I walk around wearing my beanie, or shirt, or any number of things, especially at my favorite place on earth, I get accused of being...*shudders*... CLICHE!!! Dun dun DunhhhhHHHH!

I don't think it really matters if you wear whatever memorabilia you have of the nightmare before christmas. It's a good movie! And just because there are dummies who like it and wear the same things doesn't mean you can't wear it too. I dunno, other people don't really matter anyway, and if they call you "cliche" they're just being vain. be proud!

I totally know how you feel, and I *hate* that thing. I absolutely love TNBC, long before it was "in" or "cool" or whatever. Not only that, but any other thing I am a fan of "legitimately" like oh.. Naruto? cant say anything about it without being accused of narutotardism totally agree with you here.

Oh come on, fuck what anyone else thinks. Do, wear, be, love, and think whatever you want. You know you liked it before it became trendy, cliche, or, oh god - "Hot Topic", and that's all that matters. Tim Burton has, and will always kick ass. :) ...And I'd rather drive a Vespa. :)
