(this one says it all about the movie: http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/filmblog/2009/dec/14/where-the-wild-things-are) - yeah, i went to the cinema on sun afternoon (on my own!) and had a marvellous time watching the movie, i highly recommend it. i loved the vigour and speed of movement in particular, it felt exhilarating, and of course, the storyline was told in a compelling way. but most of all, it was a pleasure to watch all those furry creatures!!! :D

I probably should have grown up and out of this kind of thing by now, but I can't help it. It's just a (two-decade long) phase I'm going through, honest!
Into all manner of dark music - dark electro, dark ambient, ebm, electro-industrial, some old-time goth/alternative, powernoise etc etc etc. At one time I harboured dreams of producing my own stuff in that kind of vein. Having completed a lot of tracks and defined my style, life got in the way. I hope to get back into producing some noise again soon.
I'm often to be found, lurking or otherwise, on www.kvraudio.com or blogging at VOX, or working on "things" for my fun side project www.thisisthings.com or uploading photos to Flickr or I'll be somewhere else doing something else...
And finally, a thank you to the really nice people and musicians here on Last.FM that I've met or had conversations with. You make Last.FM what it is - a safe haven and friendly drop-in centre for those of us who are mad (about music). ;)
