Now answer the questions according to the numbers:

What was the first song you ever heard by 6?
Left and Leaving. It was the intro song to a Noam Chomsky documentary. I fell in love with it immediately.

What is your favourite album of 2?
It changes a lot. At the moment I'd say Window of Life, but it will probably be something different soon, particularly with their new album coming out next week.

What is your favourite lyric that 5 has sung?
I don't have a definite favourite, largely because I don't really listen to them for their lyrics. I quite like the line "My chance of being open was broken and now you're Mrs. him" from Congratulations, so I'll go with that.

How many times have you seen 4 live?
Twice, on the Fear of a Blank Planet tour last year.

What is your favourite song by 7?
Jesus. So very simple, but powerful and moving.

What is a good memory you have considering the music of 10?
Buying P.U.L.S.E. at a CD store, before heading to the pub to get wasted with friends.

Is there a song of 3 that makes you sad?
Too many to list. Even their seemingly happy songs like "Set Yourself On Fire" can make me sad, particularly with lyrics like "In a cancer ward where the patients sit waiting patiently to die."

What is your favourite lyric that 2 has sung?
"I ran and I ran to go as far as I can
    Looking over my shoulders
    But always seeing that man
Running after me on the horizon forever"

From "The Shadow". Again, not a band I love for their lyrics.

What is your favourite song by 9?
It was Goshen's Remains for a long time, then Bullitts Dominae. Now I'm not sure.

How did you get in to 3?
Someone sent me a download link to "Set Yourself On Fire" via PM on a forum I frequent. I gave them a go, thought they were brilliant and bought that album along with "Heart" and "In Our Bedroom After the War" soon after.

What was the first song you heard by 1?
That I'm aware of "Pseudo Silk Kimono". I may well have heard one of their more famous singles before that time, without realising it, though.

What is your favourite song by 4?
Lazarus, probably. Awesome piano melody. Trains and Buying New Soul are strong contenders, too.

How many time have you seen 9 live?
    None, regretably.

What is a good memory you have concerning 2?
Reading Harry Potter while playing their albums on a loop. The two work briliantly together, for some reason.

Is there a song of 8 that makes you sad?
Wake Up is a particularly sad track by them.

What is your favourite album of 5?
"Foiled", hands down. Probably in my top 5 favourite albums of all time, by any band.

What is your favourite lyric that 3 has sung?
So, so many. Now this is a band that I listen to for their lyrics. I'm going to plump for "I'm there, yeah, I serve them, the one with the empty looking eyes", but really there are far too many great lyrics, and I don't want to list more than one, for fear of being here for hours.

What is your favourite song of 1?
War Wet Circles or Don't Hurt Yourself, probably.

What is your favourite song of 10?
    Coming Back to Life.

How many times have you seen 8 live?
I haven't, unfortunately. I missed my chance last time they were in this city.

What is your favourite album of 1?
I don't have one at the moment. It changes all the time, anyhow. The new album sounds very promising, though, so had I filled in this questionnaire a week or so later I might well have put that.

What is a great memory you have considering 9?
Going on a trip to Whitby with friends. I listened to their album "The Dark Third" quite a lot before going, and took the CD with me when I went. Whenever I listen to a track like "Apprentice of the Universe" I think of cold autumnal days.

What was the first song you heard by 8?
The Suffering. It was played a few times on Kerrang. I never really liked it, until one day it clicked, and I bought the album it was from at the next possible oppurtunity.
