Jan 31 2013, 16h13My Winamp shut down last year so that's why the numbers are so low. The iPod numbers are a little under 2 years old (I got my current iPhone in spring 2011). Thought it would be interesting to compare my most played songs from the current restarted Winamp (which I use for scrobble), iPod (no scrobble) and the stats here in my account.
The top 15 most played songs in Winamp:
These My Dreams Are Yours - Marc Almond (66 plays)
Do It With A Rockstar - Amanda Palmer & The Grand Theft Orchestra (29)
Hood - Perfume Genius (26)
Impermanence - Othon (23)
Fantastic Voyage - David Bowie (21)
Dark Parts - Perfume Genius (20)
Freedom at 21 - Jack White (18)

Loving The Alien - David Bowie (65)

Queen Bitch - David Bowie (58)
Interesting: the iPod numbers are the most even. I seem to listen to my favourite songs on there quite evenly. Also the overall stats are pretty different from what I've been listening to for the past two years. There isn't one song which would feature in each of the lists.

Older ones as well as some reviews are also to be found there. :o)
Mai 5 2012, 12h49Every Friday for over two months now I've been writing about my top 5 songs from the past week over on my blog. Here's a link to the latest one. Check out and comment, if you want to. ;o)
Mar 31 2009, 11h35I used to be the one bitching about The Killers when I knew shit about them. That's typical. Like people bitching about Twitter when they haven't tried it.
(I don't like Facebook very much but I am on it...it turned out not to be my cup of tea).
Anyway, back to the music 'coz that's what matters, ain't it. :o)
It took me 5 years to start liking The Killers and now I'm hooked. Coz I find myself loving the quirky ones - and boy, those boys are quirky. Esp. Mr. Flowers. Hilarious man. His eyes make everything he does seem so sincere.
I find it quite nice (even tho uplanned) that it's the Killer songs that remain in my recently listened tracks in here before I started the strike.
I'm laughing at the people who can't stop scrobbling for a few days... "last.fm is the drug, got a hook on me" but hey, makes me feel good about myself. I can live without scrobbling, yes I can. Now, before I start quoting president Obama...
...What have I been listening to since starting the strike? Thanks to The Killers' WONDERFUL cover of Dire Straits' "Romeo and Juliet" I discovered an album called "Rites of Passage" by Indigo Girls. Their version of "Romeo and Juliet" is breathtaking.
I also re-discovered a best-of compilation by Crowded House. The 90's one. It's called "Recurring Dream".
So I had a bit of a guitar evening last night.
Yeah, two albums, I guess that's why I don't need the scrobbling thing. :o))
This is the world that we live in...And no, we can't go back
Set 21 2008, 13h40So much fun. This gig was everything I expected it to be and so much more. Wish I could grow old like that... :o)
