Ok I wanted to listen to happy summery songs, but I didn't have much inspiration to make a playlist myself, so I just played the radio station with songs tagged as "summer"...
Now, seriously guys, how is SLOW MOTION BY THIRD EYE BLIND A SUMMERY SONG?!

Ohhh, that reminds me of all those summer days back when I was in....Hell?
Also, just because the word summer is in the title of the track, it doesn't necessarily mean the track is summery itself... like summer skin by Death Cab for Cutie.. a bit too depressing to be a "summer track"!
To me, summer tracks are.. Island in the Sun - Weezer, most Joss Stone songs, Summer Jam - The Underdog Project, The Sweet Escape - Gwen Stefani, and for some reason Last Night and Someday, and You Only Live Once - The Strokes.. and She Moves in Her Own Way - The Kooks.. haha, and What a Wonderful World - Louis Armstrong..
But Anyway, maybe this just means my perception of summer tracks and summer in general is a bit different from that of other taggers.. Maybe my summers just don't contain as much murder, abuse, drug overdose and such, as theirs/yours. In summer, I like to listen to up-beat or chilll music, not to music that makes me want to slit my wrists... : )
