Hey, sorry I didn't reply sooner, been busy. I have to admit my last.fm profile isn't that accurate because in general it just scrobbles the stuff I play on spotify, which annoyingly misses a huge amount of music from smaller bands. So yeah I've been listening to new Terra Tenebrosa (well mainly the track they released earlier) and on that note the new General Lee album which also isn't there, it kind of downplays my love for Fall of Efrafa too :( I'm sure you'll safely like General Lee out of the ones you listed on my wall (quite similar to CoL), Gojira are more crushing but intelligent death metal, probably start with From Mars to Sirius. I like Impure Wilhelmina, but a friend that likes similar music to me didn't really catch on with them, so it could go either way, probably listen to L'Amour, La Mort, L'Enfance Perdue first. Depending what you feel like I'm sure there's others I can recommend also, have a listen to Battle of Britain Memorial, Reka & When Icarus Falls for example.

Interesting list! Already checked most of that stuff, Krallice and Bosse-de-Nage releases are indeed huge ones, I'll have to pay more attention to the rest. You should listen to Fauna's Avifauna, just came out at the end of December, for sure part of my 2012 top list nowadays.

Hi! Take a look: http://rateyourmusic.com/list/Selfdestructiv/2012. Special mention to A Place to Bury Strangers, A Forest of Stars, Aluk Todolo, Panopticon, Fauna, Krallice, Enslaved, Alkerdeel... and maaany more albums, this year's list has been really hard to choose! Many good releases as well, most of them surprisingly not from the bands I expected! What about you? Can't wait for Cult of Luna's new album by the way!

Hey! Lucky you, so many gigs there on Germany. Indeed, that was a good one. By now we all know Russian Circles live never disappoint; unfortunately, Deafheaven didn't convince me... maybe it's just me but I found a huge difference between album and live, not specially in sound terms (that was not bad, maybe just a bit more presence of vocals and drums than guitars) but as a whole. It's hard to explain... perhaps the attitude on stage helped, the singer was more like posing to the cameras while doing ugly faces than singing, as an example. Anyway, I can't say it was bad... they just left me a bit cold.

Sorry, mate. No luck on a flac release through bandcamp. You'll have to get a copy of the CD for lossless, I'm afraid.

Hey! Nice to read that. I just thought you were gonna like this seeing your charts, think it's quite an underrated band. Btw, you can check my final top here http://rateyourmusic.com/list/Selfdestructiv/2011 as special mentions I would say Bloodiest, Fyrnask, Omega Massif, Apparat, Cara Neir, Jeniferever, Fell Voices... and so on. Biggest deception goes to Dredg. I'll check some unknown bands for me from your list, Light Bearer seems interesting. Hope this upcoming year will bring us such great albums as 2011, have a good one :)
