I've reset this account twice so far, and I'm really hoping this is my last time. First time around I wasn't as stringent about my ID3 tags as I should've been, and that drove my OCD brain crazy (er, crazier). So in my second iteration all my live tracks were properly labeled and such. The only problem with the second version of my account was that iScrobbler wasn't interacting properly with my iPod touch. I was getting spurious scrobble counts. And if there's anything that drives me crazier than improper ID3 tags it's corrupted data sets. So I started again, this last time, with the thinking that I'd only scrobble tracks live from my iMac via iTunes, and I would only scrobble music. In my first and second versions I pretty much scrobbled anything that filtered its way through my iPod or iTunes: lectures, podcasts, TV shows, etc. So in some sense this is probably the purest reflection of what I listen to, it's just unfortunate that I can't scrobble anything from my iPod without getting those scrobbling errors, 'cause that's mostly how I consume my music. Oh well.
