    well, I've just got back from work, thank god it was a rather quiet evening, not as much work as usual. so now I'm gonna go listening to my itunes library and try to relax a bit :) hope your data problems at uni will be sorted out soon! btw: I see you've been listening to the lates KOL album, do you like it? I've only heard it twice, so I don't have a certain opinion on it yet

I've listened to a bit of those you recommended, Heavenly have lots of songs including the word "heavenly" xD I have to download those zookeeper albums though and decide if I like them..should do me for work tomorrow ^_^

    Well, unfortunately we don't have MB here and I guess we never will. I think it's the kind of humour that most German people wouldn't understand. Plus you have to watch it in English for the jokes to work and have to understand most of it to make it funny. German TV has a "tiny" obsession with dubbing everything it can get it's hands on, so if one day someone decided it's a great show and they need to have it in their programm they will dub and therefore ruin it. I have been watching it on youtube. All three seasons, start to end. Plus the live dvd and what not. You have a good time at BSP tonight. Tell me how it was. :)

How about you are an awesome nerd? :) I mean I can't really say anything about your awesomeness or your nerdiness but since you mentioned both yourself you will be remembered as the awesome nerd with the magic orange square. How about that... I am quite jealous of your event list for the next few days. Missed BSP earlier this year, LC! last week and, well, The Mighty Boosh will never make it's way over to little old Germanland. Unfortunately.

    unfortunately work is pretty busy...6 days of work, yesterday I had a day off and now another 6 days of work for me :S therefore I found a nice new flat to live in (not to far away from my new workplace, not to far away from the pubs (which is very important ;-))) I will move at the end of october or beginning of november :) then I will have much more space to store guitars, amps, computer stuff, CDs, DVDs, etc xD

Problems with events, venues or artist images should be reported by using the 'flag for review'/'flag as abuse' buttons on the respective pages rather than PM-ing me or any other moderator. Please be sure to include an explanation and any relevant links, as we won't necessarily be able to find the correct page for a venue in a city we've never heard of.

Now that's over with, some stuff about Chris rather than DFA1979:
Don't let the orange badge and 'moderator' sign scare you, I'm actually quite nice - I don't bite (unless you're made of pizza). Don't be a moron and we'll get on fine. But I won't accept random friend requests. If I don't know anything about you, I'm not going to accept you as a friend, why would I? Talk to me a bit first.

I study Physics at the University of Liverpool, currently in my third year of a four year MPhys course. I may or may not go on to do a PhD afterwards, I've not really made any decision on that yet. I love languages. I'm currently monolingual, but learning to speak German - slowly learning, but learning. It's particularly the way that languages develop, and the relationships between them, which interests me more than being able to speak a bunch of them, though.

I don't really have a favourite band. There are a far too many good ones to choose from. Nor do I have a favourite song, for the same reason. It's just impossible to pick. I like recommendations, look into my library for clues as to what I might like. Tell me to check out things that are a bit different to what I already listen to, I try to keep an open mind. My top artists may fall in a roughly similar spectrum, but if you look further into my collection there's also metal, experimental, techno, and more. Language doesn't matter, I mostly listen to stuff in English but my CD collection already includes stuff in Icelandic, Norwegian, Japanese, Swedish, French, and possibly one or two more. So be bold, the worst that can happen is that I might not like it - that's not going to make me hunt you down with a shotgun, I'll just think "oh. OK, I'll listen to something else instead".

For those who thought "tl;dr": quit complaining, nobody's asking you to read any of this anyway.
