It might take a few listens to get into but is honestly worth it. Their sound is initially deceptive, but they are actually a really good indie-pop (and folk) band with very clever lyrics. I might send you some more stuff when I'm back in Notts.

Yes, sir! Two albums, as it happens, though one is just a Bruce Springsteen covers album which I haven't listened to yet. The other is called "If you leave it alone" and I like it a lot. Another one that you could check out is Darren Hayman's "Pram Town". I saw DH on Friday and shortly after (by which I mean hours, not days) he was attacked while driving through Nottingham's worst area. Yikes. DH and The Wave Pictures also released a live album together this year. I expect that you have the Stardeath and White Dwarfs album? That one is good. Also recommend It Hugs Back, Circulatory System and These Sad Captains. I dunno if you'd count the new Apples in Stereo as it's a best of...
