It's Christmas, and we have Rage Against The Machine at #1 with that jolly festive anthem "Killing in the Name" ;) (seriously, I am pleased they are #1, even if the song is a little TOO SHOUTY FOR MY EARS and I found it SHOUTY when it was first released in 1993 - I was something of an 'old woman' back then too? - and other issues, aaaand... *babbles* ;) ).     Oh, my finger is okay, thanks :) - it was my own stupid, STUPID fault!! I was trying to retrieve something from an empty Diet Coke can, and got my finger stuck!! It was horrible trying to get it out, but all is very much okay now (thankfully) (let that be a little warning to those reading - do not put one's finger in an empty drinks can!). I've been reading the "Q" magazine review of the decade, and it's made me want to hear some new music... I still really have lots of discovering to do, too... ;)

The weather is terrible here - I think we've had only three or four rain-free days since returning from Finland. It's so windy here too - it takes some strength to grab hold of an umbrella that just cannot fight the wind anyway... Aaah, Cerys Matthews - she played a concert here (in my hometown) fairly recently. She also gave birth a couple of weeks ago or so. Hmm, maybe I should see if her album is on Spotify... Ciao!! :)

    A comment you made a while back regarding TBR's "Murder Ballad" inspired me to start a new tag: "that gothic surf sound". :) I realized a lot of my top-played songs from TBR and Interpol fit in there pretty well. I'm also informed that "Anna Puu" literally translates as "Give Wood" in Finnish. I really enjoyed listening to her album a few days ago... Bbbbest wishes to yoooou!! :)
