Hi! My name is AJ and we are Ballad Bombs, a post punk/ indielectro / post new wave band based in Frankfurt, Germany. On this station we add and play music that we like. The new BB band members are AJ (vox, guitars, programming), Bryan Swansea (synths, programming) & Maverick (drums).

BALLAD BOMBS 2009 NEWS: BB have started to work on a brand new, 100% synth driven and very (post 80s) dancebable alternative song, called "Why? why? why?". It turns out to be the strongest tune thay they have recorded ever. Reactions from initial listeners are overwhelming. "Why? why? why?" shall come out with remixes and a video in 2009.

Our first album "And Then We Danced" has been released on CD and to download in 2007. It's a collection of our first release from 1987 "Dirty Rats" and all our favourite tunes and demos from the late 80s and the early 90s. We took a 12-year break with Ballad Bombs but I was forming the new Ballad Bombs in 2005/06 and with two young new members, Maverick and Bryan Swansea, and the help of many friends and guest musicians, we are now back in the studios and currently recording a new album: "The Beautiful And Damned". We have added 2 NEW demo versions of forthcoming titles to the profiles of Ballad Bombs and The Ballad Bombs (unfortunately there are 2 profiles!). The two new demos/songs: "Seventeen" and "Trampled Under Your Foot" may be a bit untypical but they both combine The Old (electro, glam, post punk) with the New (modern industrial, electronic) and that will be the golden thread on our forthcoming album "The Beautiful and Damned" (due to delays the release is postponed to 2011.)
