Hey just thought i'd let you know that we had a seminar called "The power of the Holy Spirit for missional living" at my college this tuesday, And one of the speakers said that a spiritual experience outside of christianity is mystical, whereas a spiritual experience within christianity is not mystical but rather allows you to encounter God, through the person of the Holy Spirit and is relational. I think that kinda sums up what I was trying to say and you think as well :P

Well I was just wondering because the idea of using worship music to get into an altered state of mind sounds really wierd. But at the same time I thought one of things that worshiping was is allowing us to experience God's presence and be in communion with him. I think an altered state of mind and experiencing the presence of God are two different things though.
