*Thanks Noah (RABBIT GIRLS) for these freebies
**Thanks to whomever threw this in with WTBTN

Thanks to the government for the dole that helped pay for these albums
Thanks to the centre for clinical trials for paying me for testing your drugs
Thanks to Aldi for decreasing my grocery bill

The next album I will purchase will be Róisín Murphy's newie titled Overpowered, as a present for my wonderful fiancée DeeDee. This will be the last album I'll buy for a while as commencement of a new semester at uni has meant my monies will go the way of text books for the time being.
Cutest album cover ever no?

So tell me
What is the point of paying for music?
If you spend all the money you can afford to on music can you therefore download as much music illegally as you so please and still be morally sound?
What is your favourite and least favourite album from this list?
Have you ever edited wikipedia? (I did for the first time the other day; just some fixing up of stuff on Marc and the Mambas page)
How does this post affect my e-penis?

Edit: DeeDee brought me
John Wiese - Teenage Hallucinations- 1992-1999
today as a present

This is a REALLY good list of records but I know that you don't need me to tell you that.

You should, you won't be disappointed. It's surprising consistent throughout despite john only being 14 towards end of the album.

Ah, brilliant list...especially WTBTN (I'm 847/1000 heh) and the ridiculous amount of C93... I'd be amused to know how much all of it cost though!

No such thing as a ridiculous amount of C93 :P I'd be interested to know how much it all all cost too! I could probably figure it out for the most part by looking at my paypal history. Give me some boredom and spare time and i'll figure it out and post it in here.

Nice C93 list, it's near mind boggling how much material he has. Was thinking about getting into Muslimgauze, recommend a place to start? Why spend all our money on music? I think it's partly as a fan's moral responsibility, partly our need for material objects to represent our favourite art forms and partly because we hope our money will find its way back to the artists.

Re: Muslimgauze try Deceiver, Baghdad or Maroon Most Muslimgauze releases are quite good so really just go for whatever you can find on p2p servers are the more popular ones will most likely have the best production and be the best place to start anyway. If you think its near mind boggling how much c93 material their is, Muslimgauze are a solo project with around 300 releases over only a 17 year period.

Well I do that about half the time but it gets boring. The other half of the time it’s a case of buying an album that I haven’t yet heard by artist I like. The exception to this is when I see something by a band I’ve heard good things about and it’s cheap.
