Hell there. I saw you asking on someone else's page for band recommendations. I just wanted to put in my 2 cents: if you are a Siouxsie fan, check out this German band called X-Mal Deutschland... their first 2 albums are extremely Siouxsie-ish, tho' they went in a poppier direction later. If you are feeling like something that takes the ethereal vox of Cocteau Twins and the bombastic beats of Sisters of Mercy, I would check into the band Lycia, who are pretty but also sometimes pretty intense. Happy listening, hope you like!

well miss, as of Cocteau Twins I'd classify them as Dream pop/Post Punk. a lot of the bands you listed are under the label of post punk.. Here are some you may like with the same kick of depression & and that jazz. number one check out The Chameleons amazing band! number 2 Modern English from 80-82 look at "After the Snow" & "Mesh and Lace." also there is Love and Rockets which is the Bauhaus - their lead singer. their stuff is great from 84-89. the last one for now is much dreamier. They are called Slowdive their 91-93 albums/Eps are amazing, and worth a listen.. please get back whenever. Cheers, K.d.W
