I am originally from The Netherlands, moved to Cambridge in May. Must say that the 60's scene here is a bit better then it was where I lived, there were some underground things that had allnighters and other events but it all was too far from where I lived. Though when it comes to buying records I had more luck in The Netherlands as they had record fair's and sales going on, especially on flee market's you'd find some nice rarity's and great records! Hahah I will send you over some snow , we have loads here and it's going to snow more this week as well, should be a white Christmas, or at least I hope so :) Hope you are having a wonderful weekend so far, I am absolutely tired, been busy sorting out the last bits for christmas. my mum will be in England for Christmas, and I will be going to the Netherlands for New Years but that is a surprise for my family still so nobody knows yet :) hope you're ok xx

Yeah, some of those musicians dress like back then again but "normal" people don't! At least not here:( I usually try to dress a little mod at least but well, then mostly I just end up wearing jeans anyway:). Oh, he was on tour here? I didn't realise that, haha. So I haven't seen him. I think I wouldn't want to see Paul alone anyway. I think that would be a little strange, I don't know! He's never been my favourite Beatle as well, that is George and I cannot see him anymore:(. But I have seen The Zombies last month and that just made up for a lot of bands I've missed cause they were just absolutely fantastic! And Colin and Rod are two very interesting and nice people:) So I'm happy:) Have a nice day!

Thanks :) Ahh yeah Mister Moon was a legend! Not many like him around unfortunately! Pete is a great songwriter and guitar player of course , there is no one like him :) I was listening to The Hollies on my Ipod earlier today and I forgot how much I loved Stop, Stop, Stop! It's been stuck in my head all day! Before I moved over to England I bought their best of CD with Bonus DVD with all their music video's I looked it up yesterday and I transferred all the songs to my Ipod :) Groovy! Hope you are having a great weekend Alex, here it's been -7 all day and there is loads of snow about, but it's all good fun :) xx

Oh you're right about the mod dressing!! I love it as well, it was absolutely adorable. I wish people would still dress like that. Yeah, they were quite big here I think. The Beat Club!! I LOVED the Beat Club ever since I was a child, I badly need the DVDs:) The Beat Club helped a lot improving my music taste, that's where I saw most of the bands I love for the first time:) It was repeated in the early 90s, every Sunday and I used to watch it with my dad. Yeah, good times;)
