I like my music to invoke emotion, have a purpose, and to be engaging.

You'll see what some consider an obnoxious amount of metal in my charts. No, the above statement isn't some sort of hint that I'm an elitist, it's just what I've found to work best for me.

I'm passionate about music discussion and I'll gladly engage in it.

I'll give anything you rec an honest shot. I'm always up for new stuff regardless of how far removed it might be from my library - there's a good chance it actually won't be, as there are many CD's I own that never scrobble.

Feel free to add me even if we're not high compatibility. Many of my friends are medium and lower, but they're still awesome people. Besides, having low compatibility makes it that much more likely of finding something awesome previously overlooked.
