My definition of nu-jazz is "bleak background music played by white guys who sometimes borrow harmonies from elder black guys but instantly goes back to similar harmonies and grooves used in eurovision song contest". Sometimes the drums gets more intensive though. According to my wife, I sometimes show a similar behaviour to this: she claims that I tend to move a lot more when I sleep.
