Sorry, Schoenberg is not noise. Twelve-tone is some ultra-mathematical contrivance...that many modern composers now want to pretend never existed. Noise (as a compositional movement contemporary to Schoenberg) is completely antithetical to Schoenberg - both musically and politically. Noise was a tribute to environmental sound - including the sounds of war. I just don't see the connection.
