You know, I like this tag, I don't care what anyone else says. The 15k listeners limit might be a bit subjective - after all, what do we do with the tags after said artist reaches the limit? - but the tag is nonetheless good.

The number of listeners an artist has on Last.fm is a detail [i]about Last.fm[/i]. Neither of these do anything to describe the music, which is the purpose of tagging.

I dont understand what problem people have with this tag. It clearly states "This tag is for artists with 3+ streamable tracks, who have less than 15K listeners, so other people can discover them." This is not 'how people perceive the music', it is completely objective - more so than any genre tag.
