Aswell as glam rock bands of the 70´s,if you don´t see the glam influence in their music,you dont listen to them,glam rock of the 70´s actually rocks so it´s not an offense,also,Motley Crue (a glam band) have punk rock influences and covers. The point of my argument is that hard rock is not a genre with a certain sound,because some bands of the list are hard rock but very different.

A lot of these bands had different styles and influences on them,ACDC had a rock and roll sound,Kiss and Alice Cooper are glam and shock,same with Guns n Roses,Scorpions have metal influences,Uriah Heep are like progresisve rock,and Led Zeppelin is more like a Blues rock band. Pure hard rock doesn´t exist.
