Anathema (early stuff is 'proper' doom, but their later stuff is good too), Paradise Lost and Morgion if you like death-doom in the same-ish vein as MDB. October Tide is good if you like Katatonia's early material. Tiamat's 'Wildhoney' and 'Clouds' are too more mellow (but still excellent) death-doom offerings, especially the former. Cathedral's debut is definitely worth checking out too. If you're into more 'traditional' doom, then St. Vitus, Trouble, Candlemass (<<< gods) and Pentagram (US) are all essential. Not an expert on funeral doom so I'll leave that for another (rainy) day.
