Every dredg album has it's own style and is dramatically different from the previous one. This one is by far their best.

Whoa, quite different from the ones before. A creative leap on their part. I'm enjoying the dashes of eclecticism. Vibes in "Drunk Slide", Organ and western stomp in "Lightswitch", the Glam rock in "Saviour", the funk, synthetic strings and tablas in "Mourning this morning", Classical loops in "Long Days", the spanish guitar in "Cartoon Showroom", Is that gospel in "Quotes"?

On the first listen the album sounds really good, although definitely poppier than the previous albums. A different kind of music, which still has some of the better aspects of their earlier production.

First, I was like, man, this shit fucking sucks, like, wtf happened to that awesome dredg from Leitmotif or El Cielo, but after listening to it a few more times and stopping being a narrow-minded, biased bitch, I was like, woah, this shit is fucking great - in its "Pariah/Parrot/Delusion"-way, like Leitmotif was fucking great in its "Leitmotif"-way. Fuck yeah.

This is horrible! Comparing this to the dredg I used to know (as of Leitmotif and El Cielo), is like comparing Genesis of the 80s to Genesis of the 70s. Radio-oriented pop crap.
