around april 2010, jazz really clicked for me and i got kinda obsessive about it. so far i've even bought about half a dozen books i'm still working my way through... i'm really glad though and look forward to delving even deeper into all kinds of jazz.

i went from zero jazz musicians in the top 20 overall to four in last year's top 15! that's a pretty big jump

to be fair, Herbie Hancock would probably be higher, but his songs are too long so they don't tally up as frequently.
