The only thing that pisses me off with Share the joy is the departure of the speed during the tracks. It's still Lo-fi enough for me to enjoy but it could of done with a bit of fuzz around the edges too, not as much as the other records, but it still would of been nice.

I think Share the Joy might be my album of 2011. It represents a huge evolution in their style - not just an incremental change, but a huge leap. Their other albums are fantastic, I love them, but Share the Joy is a much more mature and focused attempt at something bigger. I was talking with my friend, who is stupid and smells bad, and told him that I like it more than their self-titled and he got mad at me. That dude is wrong.

@etiopczyk Really? I agree they're last album was pretty weak. But it had a few great songs on it! "Death" "Lake House" "Dance, if you wanna" Those were really great songs! But the Dum Dum Girls new album sounded? Country!!! I've listened to Dee Dee's music before she even put out a legit single! When the Long Hair 7" came out it completely blew my mind!
