The band was formed in 1986 and broke up in 1988. They only released a posthumous self-titled 7" with 6 songs on the hardcore labels Gravity Records and Vinyl Communications in 1992. The sounds on the 7" range from evil thrash to awesome rock, with a hardcore edge. It's all very good. Conversely, the mix is not that good, and the band refused to give any money to Vinyl Communications for the release. This ended with the label releasing it anyway and with the band members having to buy their copies from record stores. Quite a piece of information huh?
Additiononally, Dark Sarcasm also serves as a historical curiosity, as the band featured people who would later become founders or members of (kind of) dull yet extremely well known indie bands such as The Black Heart Procession, Three Mile Pilot, A Minor Forest, Maquiladora, Soul Junk, Ugly Casanova, Mr. Tube And The Flying Objects, etc.
So, get into it.
