Loving that bass grove around the 1:15 mark? Wasn't paying attention as I was just entranced by it all.

I wish I could get more into this sometimes. I LOVE Jaga Jazzist and they're most definitely inspired by Tortoise. This is really good, but it's just not AS good. SORRY!

actually i guess post-rock is a fitting label but it does come off pretentious as fuck.

to label this song danceable or post-rock is one of the biggest disservices anyone could unknowingly do to this song. It is nothing less than an epic jazz masterpiece with rock elements.

you seem to be a good guy, but you totally missed the point. i never stated the song is good because it's danceable. but indeed, tortoise rules supreme.

i hate people who judges the quality of a song attending to if it is danceable or not. Look Tortoise, they don't even have a sucking-singing-bastard. And, no, you often cannot dance their music, but who cares? go dancing to discoteques. TORTOISE IS ABSOLUTELY SUBLIME.

Sweet. This came up in glitch-hop radio :-D .. Maybe post-rock might be more fitting now that I heard Tortoise again after such a long while.
