Birds of a Feather

Issued 1978 on A&M 2079.

On "Read My Lips," Tim Curry's first solo album in 1978, he covered the Rough Trade song from their direct-to-disc audiophile album, "Rough Trade Live!" It was a nice bit of exposure for the Toronto group. It's interesting to see what he did with the arrangement, rather turning it into a pop song. The single didn't enter the Billboard charts at all. I offer it as a comparison to the original version, previously posted here:

I just looked up the "Best Of Tim Curry" CD pictured in this video, and at the moment, it is selling for $131. It has been out of print for years, and is a highly sought-after item among collectors.
