Three Dog Night foi uma banda americana de Rock’n Roll bastante ativa na década de 70, formada por Danny Hutton, Chuck Negron e Cory Wells nos vocais, Jim Greenspoon (teclado), Joe Schermie (baixo), Floyd Sneed (bateria). Surgiram no final da Era do Psicodelismo e faziam um Rock pesado com raízes no R&B; ocuparam-se basicamente em recriar antigos sucessos, mas também lançando compositores novos, como aconteceu com a dupla Elton John e Bernie Taupin, autores da faixa “Lady Samantha”, do segundo LP da banda. Todos álbuns do grupo ganharam discos de ouro e a formação permaneceu completamente inalterada até 1973, quando Joe Schermie saiu e foi substituído por Jack Ryland. Skip Konte entrou então, como segundo tecladista, mas, pouco tempo depois, a banda logo acabou.

Recently THREE DOG NIGHT performed live at the State Fair-Sept 4th in Sacramento: and what a "outstanding" live Concert they delivered filled with much sultry Rockin' Pop, Soul & the Bayou Blues. The Iconic 3 Dog Night legendary members Danny, Cory, Jimmy and Michael w/two additional musicians whom "all" graced the Golden1 stage performed 17 "unforgettable" songs from their numerous Classic's! Thank you 3 Dog Night for dedicated the Classic "Out In the Country" to me..'yes I heard you say my name, twice: I seat in the Golden section area close by, what a shy shaky-thrilling moment that was! You guys musician showmanship is just incrediable...'absolutely "beautiful" unique Vocals/music all the way. Spectacular & breathtaking...'come back soon! God Bless.

"Golden Biscruits, Seven Separated Fools/I sill have all my 7 deck cards, Naturally, Hard Labor, etc.,. to name a few of their Classic's are all masterpieces - I also love "Masterpiece & Coming Down Your Way" albums/Cd's! It has been a treasure & honor being your fan since 1969 & look forward in seeing you guys/Cory, Danny, Jimmy & Michael perform at the EXPO State Fair this Summer 2009!
