Avalanche and Rules for Jokers are fantastic albums - she really deserves to be much better known than she is. And well worth catching live. Saw her doing an acoustic set in the tiny Pleasance Cabaret Bar in Edinburgh last year - my gig of the year

Oh my god- most underrated songwriter IN THE WORLD! She's a genius. Right up there with Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell, etc etc. Great lyrical poetry, great sound. Love the album 'Avalanche' and hoping to hear more soon!

Let's see....the UK version of "Liejacker" has tracks not available on the U.S. version, and the U.S. version has an exclusive track unavailable on other versions. I love Thea, but my god, these record company people all need to die in a fire. "Come Up With Me" is a great pop tune, but sort of reaks of "We won't release this unless you write a catchy single for it." Definitely kind of sticks out a little, although on its own it's a great little pop tune that almost harks back to the "Rules For Jokers" era.

She's been featured in plenty of places before and got great reviews but for some reason it's never given her that much recognition. As long as she is doing well enough to keep putting out great albums and touring I'm happy though, not everyone has to be famous even if they deserve to be.

Well she's featured in Guardian.co.uk this week so that may give her more recognition. Re. her not being massively successful inspite of her talent - not everyone can be that famous.

That was lucky that her husband was her producer...a fortunate meeting of minds. I'm looking for that type of connection...it's so very hard to find the right musicians. Thea has a lovely sound of her own. Maybe it's a good thing she hasn't been hit by the mainstream? When i think of all the current britschool/stage school singers i doubt any of 'em will last the distance...mostly coz the music doesn't seem sincere...I'm gonna check out more trax by Thea...her stuff is relatively new to me. www.myspace.com/foxyladydee

Thea Gilmore-Seven albums, hardly a duff track-virtually unknown; Coldplay, the same not bad album, three times-mega rich. The music industry truly is in a mess. This girl produces the goods though, and continues to do so time after time. Looking forward to her next album this year.

haven't really heard much of her more recent stuff, but as far as i'm concerned, you can't beat her first album, but it doesn't seem to get much/any notice. i love it, and i think it's a shame that it is not as widely known. give it a try - it's truly amazing. raw and passionate.
