That old guy touring now version baffles me,I don't know who that is..only Dreja and McCarty are left from the glory days.

Keith Relf is credited with harmonica. Presumably, it's him.

I cannot believed I thought Aerosmith's version was the original until ten minutes ago. This is fan-tucking-fastic on several levels. Jimmy Page, man. Jimmy effing Page.

LondonLouis; no, they weren't. Antonioni first wanted The Who, but they were too stubborn and wanted to do things their own way, so he decided to go with Tomorrow. In the last minute, Tomorrow was dropped and Replaced by The Yardbirds, because they were more famous.

Re Blow-Up: I seem to remember reading that they weren't first choice for the movie.

Rave-up (was it? ) is excellent. There was a thing goin' on with the group and that is probably why they performed in the movie Blow-Up. Foggy makes a good call !!

I wouldn't say Led Zeppelin is a "poor imitation" of the Yardbirds, rather Jimmy Page wanted to call Led Zeppelin the "New Yardbirds". They merely extended the sound that the Yardbirds created, which is a great feat indeed.
