oh! sweet nuthing is fucking great, though. i'd like to add that. :) and, yeah, tastes do differ, I'm just not really into 'pop', so I felt a kinda allergic reaction when I play Loaded everytime :p

It's the only album I like from them. Sweet jane is great. and all the poppy sounding songs. Everyone has a different taste in music. I don't like the 10 minute long songs from the first album.

Who Loves The Sun bad? Christ. VU are probably the only band where you could argue that any of their releases is their best. Personally, this is my favourite. Catchy as hell pop-rock with some incredible lyrics (aside from 'Lonesome..', but c'mon it's fun).

Less avante garde and a little more standard formula-wise but for what it is, it's still an amazing album. And how can it not be the Velvet Underground? What does that even mean? The only person not on this album that was on their last release before this was drummer Maureen Tucker (according to Wikipedia). You can even get the full versions that Lou Reed initially complained about nowadays anyway
