This never shows up in Best 100 Album polls - ever. The world has cheese in it's ears.

Re: "''I'm still stuck in this pickle jar on a paper carpet.'' The writer of this lyric may have been on something. " The album cover depicted various "blotter" (LSD tab) designs. Cope on acid shock! Fucking brilliant tune.

I remember this track now that I have heard it again on LFM. I can't believe how much this brings back... It's distracting. I'm supposed to be able to just let the music drift past; instead it's prying open my focus. Not that I'm complaining! Beautiful track.

Thanks for the info Choon -- surprised I'm the only one struck by it TBH. I daresay everyone else is too busy analysing the deep and meaningful lyrics of Oasis.

''I'm still stuck in this pickle jar on a paper carpet" thanks for commenting on this lyric. First heard it 25 years ago and it's one of the lyrics which goes round your head late at night. You are the only person to have been struck bby it according to google.
