Wow, not only does Jimmy absolutely kill it on here but Billy's vocals fit in perfectly. Amazing fucking song.

I love how this shoutbox is all praise for Jimmy's drumming. I came here just to say the same thing. :)

I saw them live in Wellington New Zealand in 2008 and they played this, and it was amazing

Until I heard this song for the first time a few years ago, I never really paid attn to how much Jimmy murders behind the kit.

Straight up, greatest drumming in a rock song ever. It's like a freaking 3-minute drum fill.

Kenny Aronoff, are you fucking kidding me? Jimmy is one of my favorite drummers, but there are more than a few that are on par (e.g., Gavin Harrison and Sean Reinert).

    One of their best.

Considering when this song was written... a lot of credit for the drumming can probably go to either Kenny Aronoff or Matt Cameron. Each of whom are probably the only drummers in rock that CAN challenge Jimmy, and therefore the only worthy replacements for him at that time. That said, Jimmy plays this friggin' flawlessly, of course.

Oh yeah. And as Geek U.S.A. had been mentioned here before: This song is a good example for my "theory". Just compare the studio version to the Earphoria version.

Maybe the best drumming on any SP song, yes. I can't believe Jimmy received criticism for his drumming in the Machina era. It's the first time he REALLY sounds as dynamic and powerful as on live recordings. If you compare his drumming on live recordings from earlier eras (e.g. Siamese dream => Vieuphoria/Earphoria) you might realize that his live performance somewhat crazier (in a good way) than on the studio recordings. At least that's what I think.
