“One man band” alemã formada pelo antigo baterista da banda Nagelfar, Alexander von Meilenwald. O significado de “Beverast” vem de uma derivação da palavra “Bifröst” feita pelo próprio Alexander e lembra um antigo termo norueguês para a ponte que liga os reinos de Midgard e Asgard.
São composições fortes, de um Black Metal muito intenso e sua discografia conta com três full lengths, “Unlock The Shrine” (2004), “Rain upon the Impure” (2006), (ambos muito bem aceites pela cena) e “Foulest Semen of a Sheltered Elite” lançado a 11 de Setembro de 2009.

Rain Upon the Impure is definitely the best album for me. The twisted, dark aura of it all just feels brilliant. Add to that the murky, mysterious atmosphere and its a winner.

I was in a local music shop today, and I found that Terrorizer (I think it was Terrorizer) magazine had the myspace edit of Blood Vaults II on their sampler CD. It was lumped in with bands like Belphegor and Arkona.
