The Redwalls é uma banda de rock de Deerfield, um subúrbio de Chicago, Illinois, Estados Unidos. Altamente influenciados por The Beatles, The Rolling Stones e The Kinks têm lançados três álbuns: Universal Blues (2003), De Nova (2005), e o seu mais recente, The Redwalls (2007). A banda é composta por Logan Baren vocais e guitarra rítmica, Justin Baren nos vocais e baixo, Andrew Langer na guitarra solo e backing vocal e Rob Jensen na bateria.

The Redwalls tinham originalmente o nome The Pages, a banda era formada pelos irmãos Logan e Justin Baren e seu amigo Andrew Langer. The Pages se esforçavam para encontrar um baterista permanente no seu início. O primeiro baterista com quem a sua demo foi gravada foi o colega de Deerfield High School Matt Pais. Com Matt, a banda começa a tocar em um bar local chamado Pops. Ao iniciar a faculdade, Matt deixou a banda e o The Pages acrescenta a sua formação o baterista Jordan Kozer. Com Jordan, a banda continuou a tocar pequenos shows. Eles foram originalmente uma cover de clássicos do rock britânica da década de 60, mas eles decidiram escrever as suas próprias músicas depois de alguns meses. Eles gravaram seu primeiro disco de estúdio, o Universal Blues, de forma independente sobre etiqueta Undertow Music. Antes de o álbum ser lançado, Ken Coomer enviou uma demo da banda a Capitol Records, que contratou a banda. Após a gravação do álbum, Kozer decidiu deixar a banda para estudar na DePaul University, e os the Pages assim chamam para o posto de baterista Ben Greeno para substituir Kozer.

    Why isn't this band bigger, just goes to show how stupid all the A&R people really are. At the same time who really want's a big label anymore when you can do it for yourself.
